1. Overall Layout

The overall layout should be designed according the landform, hypsography and soil quality. The layout of horizontal, vertical and mixed methods are provided as below:

A. Vertical

See 1-4, the horizontal method can be in line, cross, fishbone shapes. Especially, the distance of earth line should not less than 5 meters, otherwise the shield effect will be caused then reduce the resistance reduce effect. This method only for the earth according figure 9. And the narrow place, but can be dig deeply or can use broach.

B. Horizontal

See 5-8, the vertical method can be in line, cross, fishbone shapes. Do not connect the earth vertically but in horizontal, adding bleeder agent according figure 10 around the spot. The effect is not so good. But in conditions of wide landform and can not dig deeply, only this method can be used and the earth body should be longer.

C. Mixed

See 1-4, vertical line connection, digging as deep as possible, adding bleeder agent surrounding for vertical earth, horizontal earth also can use bleeder agent.

This method suits the narrow place and can not dig deeply, the depth of the hole should be a bit fleeter for both vertical and horizontal.

Lastly, the construction methods of above are for normal projects. For large or high-tech projects are always use large ground net, even the expensive metal. Then can use the design according figure 9 or 10 to apply bleeder agent to satisfy resistance reducing requirement.
